This guide contains a walkthrough to help you choose and connect your Instagram, Facebook, TikTok and LinkedIn accounts to your Flick Social Groups.

Your workspace settings are where all Social Groups and connected socials can be managed. A Social Group houses all social accounts for one specific brand. For example, if you wish to connect your Instagram account, Facebook Page, and TikTok account, all of these can be housed under one labeled Social Group. If you have additional brand accounts, these would each have their own Social Groups, where you can connect each of the social accounts required for that particular brand.

Connecting Instagram or Facebook Accounts to Flick

1. Select Social Group

Head to your Flick Workspace and select the social group you’d like to add your social to.

2. Choose social to link to a Social Group

Click ‘Connect’ under the social you want to link. Once clicked, a Facebook pop-up should open. If you do not see a Facebook portal open, please check the following:

  1. Pause any ad or cookie blockers you may have on your browser and try again.

  2. Please also ensure you are not using Mozilla Firefox. This browser often blocks Facebook plugins.

  3. Remove any privacy apps you may use such as DuckDuckGo. These apps often use old or outdated plugins which do not support these connections properly.

3.1 Logging into Facebook

Log into your Facebook profile and choose all the Instagram and Facebook pages you wish to connect to Flick. (If you’ve already logged in, and are trying to connect a new account, please follow the instructions in 3.2)

Note - To connect your Instagram to Flick, you must also select the Facebook Page the Instagram is linked to.

3.2. Finding new accounts

If you’ve logged into Flick before, and wish to connect to a new Instagram or Facebook page, you will see two options within the Facebook pop-up:

1. Continue as ‘Your name’

2. Edit Settings

To link new accounts to Flick, please click ‘Edit Settings’ to open the permissions settings and select all other accounts you’d like Flick to access. This is not the setting to choose which account is connected to a specific social group. All Instagram and Facebook accounts you wish to have linked to Flick across all social groups must be ticked.

4. Allow all permissions

From the last section of the Facebook pop-up, you’ll be asked which permissions you’d like to give Flick access to. Make sure all permissions are enabled, as Flick will not be able to correctly connect to the account if permissions are changed.

5. Select the account you’d like to connect to a specific Social Group

Once you’ve chosen the accounts you wish Flick to be able to access, you’ll be asked, by Flick, which account you’d like to connect to the chosen Social Group. Simply select the correct account to complete the connection process.

Note: If you cannot find your social media accounts when trying to link, or are struggling to link, please follow these troubleshooting guides instead:

Connecting your TikTok account to Flick follows the same logic; however, the connection process is more straightforward. You can follow the steps below to get your TikTok account set up.

In this guide we used the QR method using both desktop and mobile; however, you can also log-in with your TikTok account credentials or by selecting a linked account.

3. Allow Permissions

From the last section of the TikTok pop-up, you’ll be asked which permissions you’d like to give Flick access to. Make sure all permissions are enabled, Flick will not be able to correctly connect to the account if permissions are changed.

4. Add TikTok to your Social Group.

Once you've logged into your TikTok account you'll need to then select the TikTok account and add the found account to your Social Group.
