Keeping your Collections up to date with fresh hashtags is important if you want to reach new audiences on Instagram over an extended period of time. You don’t want your Collections sitting stagnant for months on end!

With Suggested Hashtags, you can keep a continuous stream of new hashtags coming into your Collections without having to search for them. Let Flick do some of the hard work for you, so you can focus on the important stuff!

We’ll keep showcasing carefully selected hashtags that we think you’ll love, which you can approve or reject at any point. By adding more, well-selected hashtags you’ll be able to reach new potential followers and keep ahead of the competition.

Below is a handy guide on getting the most out of Suggested Hashtags, as well as a brief explanation of how it all works!

How do we suggest hashtags for your Collections?

Flick’s suggestions are far from random, in fact, we’ve put quite a bit of thought into these suggestions to make sure the integrity of your Collections is not compromised. All Hashtag Suggestions Flick offers up will match your niche, and the metrics of the hashtags you already have stored in your Collections, so you can be sure any suggestions you accept are fit for purpose and match your strategy.

For example, if your Collection only holds hashtags that have between 200k and 400k total posts, we’ll make sure any hashtags suggested are in-keeping with those metrics.

You have the final say! We’ll provide you with new suggestions every week but you get to decide if they’ll get added or dismissed.

What’s the catch?

You must have at least 10 hashtags stored in a Collection - this is to ensure we have enough data to base our suggestions on. We’ll try to provide you with a list of ten new hashtags every single week, making sure you are always topped up with the best performing hashtags!

How to use Suggestions

Using the Suggested Hashtags feature is easy! You’ll see a blue button in your Collection when there are suggestions for you to review.

Simply open the suggestions and either add a hashtag to your Collection with the blue tick or dismiss the suggestion using the red cross. You can also see the metrics that are determining the types of suggestions you’re being provided by clicking ‘Show Collection Metrics’.
